"Triangle is the only national fraternity for students majoring in engineering, architecture, and the sciences."

Parents,

Thank you for visiting Triangle Fraternity’s website to learn about who we are! Triangle Fraternity is a social fraternity exclusively for men majoring in engineering, architecture, and the physical sciences. We have been represented at Kansas State University since 1964, and our national organization has over 30 other chapters across the United States. Triangle Fraternity provides many benefits for its members, including academic, professional, leadership, and social development.

Your son can greatly benefit academically by joining a small group of men who are committed to academic excellence. Because of our similar degree paths, we take many of the same courses and are able to host study sessions between members of Triangle. We have been ranked in the top three among K-State fraternities academically for the past three years, and have won the Triangle Cup for best Triangle chapter GPA three consecutive years. We are able to share many of the textbooks for classes, helping to reduce the cost of attending class. Older members of Triangle are able to tutor younger members in coursework, helping them get through challenging courses like calculus and chemistry.

The purpose of a university is career preparation and few places are able to develop men for the professional world like Triangle Fraternity, in fact, that is our purpose! Leadership development is an extremely high priority at Triangle and we are committed to developing our members through mentored training. Members are able to develop skills in organization, communication, and preparation by running a full slate of semester programming. Another professional benefit of Triangle is our base of alumni. Potential internships and full-time employment can be found through our network of connected alumni working in the diverse fields of architecture and engineering.

Triangle fosters the building of strong relationships between men of diverse talents, backgrounds, and personalities. At Triangle we are committed to providing a wholesome environment for lasting friendships to be formed. It is because of our strong commitment to friendship and mutual respect that we do not haze any new member. Hazing has no place in a fraternity based on the ideals of brotherhood and it is not tolerated in Triangle.

I would like to thank you very much for taking the time to learn more about Triangle Fraternity. I am committed very strongly to this fraternity because of the benefits that I have found in this group of men, and I believe the benefits I have experienced are critical to my success at Kansas State University. It is with complete confidence I can recommend Triangle Fraternity as an advantageous and appropriate choice for your son.

Sincerely,

Scott Wiens, ks05
